Etsy Monday...girlsavage!

I've been a big fan of girlsavage's adorable feltidermy for some time now, but these [somewhat] new additions are irresistible! If I had a child I would definitely be ordering this super cute Ponik the Loch Ness Monster for my little one!! But seriously, it would be hard to pass up the wool Narwal or Pegasus!

Ruffles, ruffles...

I'm sort of a girly girl who loves ruffles! This Hawks top & these sweet flats [first saw the grey & yellow pair @ OB] are perfect! Both with ruffle details but not at all overdone...

Breakfast bake...!

The other morning my husband requested this little dish, something I had long forgotten. I had made it for him when we were dating & didn't realize it was one of his favorites! It's super easy & super yummy so I thought I'd share!
You'll need::
1 pkg crescent rolls
6 eggs
1/2 cp. shredded cheese [I used sharp cheddar]
1/2 cp. chopped ham or bacon [cooked]
a handful of chopped veggies like tomatoes or I used bell peppers
2 tlbs. cream cheese [I always add cream cheese to eggs!]
Roll out crescent rolls [all together] on floured surface. Try to roll it into a 12"x 8" rectangle.
Once rolled out, cut 1" strips along sides of rectangle [length wise]
Then, in a bowl whisk together eggs, cream cheese, shredded cheese then add the mea & vegetables. Scramble until almost done, leaving the eggs a bit runny. [they will finish cooking when you bake them]
Lay out egg cooked egg mixture down the center of dough. Carefully wrap the center with the strips on either side, alternating each side. Brush a little egg white or butter over the top to make it crispy or shiny.
Bake @ 350 for about 20 mins!
Enjoy your weekend everyone!

Loving...Wren!
Wren has a great line of clothing going on...and although I feel it's too early to consider Fall apparel, especially since we have a long stretch of hot weather to endure here in the Northwest. That said, I still had to peek at the Fall collection (below) & it's got me a bit excited for Fall's arrival. To me it is hands down the most exciting season for fashion, with it's vast variety of color palettes & textures it makes all the layering so much fun! Wren's collection is full of feminine touches and great color...a few favorites!

DIY...lavender sachets!

It's been too long since I've posted a DIY project, so here's a little one. Bianca from Hollabee had sent me a few squares of her wonderful fabric some time ago & I finally got around to doing something with them. [you may remember a post I did about her & her fabric]
To make you'll need::
fabric [I used 9"x5" pieces, folded in half]
bias tape or ribbon to hang with
pins
needle & thread or sewing machine
about 1 cup of dried lavender buds [per sachet]
1] I folded my rectangular piece in half so I'd only have to stitch 3 sides instead of 4
2] fill 3/4 of the way with the dries lavender
3] tuck in top & press, then pin your tape or ribbon in place {see 2nd picture}
4]stitch the top closed
That's it! Now you can use them to hang in you closet, or tuck in your lingerie drawer to keep your things smelling fresh!
P.S.-make sure to check out Bianca's blog & shoppe!
Lovely underneath...
I would love this butterfly trivet from Rocket St George...perfect for entertaining and just a great cooking accessory!

Etsy Monday...Domestikate!

So I haven't been able to really keep up with featuring a new Etsy artist every Monday, but i was able to this week. I love this shoppe, Domestikate... it's all the fun of shopping for fun vintage treasures without having to rummage through a bunch of old icky stuff! With cameras, home decor, kitchen ware and even some art, there's something for every taste! There's page after page of wonderful finds!

add your own...
These sweet light bulb decals are perfect for those who want to add some quirkiness without the commitment of an entire patterned wall of paper. With 14 colors to choose from, you can put up a single decal or group them like in the picture above1

Kimenna clothing...

Lately I have been sick of the clothing found in my local department stores...I keep looking for something new & fresh but I never seem to find it. Etsy, though, has more than enough fresh, inventive styles to keep me well dressed all Summer long. In particular, Kimenna has some great silhouettes, some that I would thoroughly love to sport! Check out that little charcoal dress with ribbon-like detailing around the neck or the hand-painted blouse (middle right pic)!
I chose just a few of my favorites but she has plenty more where that came from...check out her shoppe!

Happy weekend & 4th!
image from Ken Fulk
So my Internet still isn't back to normal so sorry if I've been sparse on my posts or even getting over to visit everyone else's sites! Believe me, it's not fun! Hopefully it won't be too much longer till we get things worked out!
Enjoy your Independence Weekend!
A favorite...in green!
One of my all-time favorite chairs, this Eames plywood lounge chair (which will be mine someday!) now comes in green, blue, yellow, red & white. I may still prefer the natural stained version but these are pretty great too! Check out more images here...!
Jodi Arnold...

Now that Summer is in full swing, I'm constantly on the look out for fun Summer apparel. Jodi Arnold's Summer line is perfect! I'm loving her colors and feminine embroidery details! On a warm Summer day it would be great to throw on one of her breezy dresses with some metallic sandals!

Love, love, love these!
These Marc Jacobs boots are fabulous! The dark leather with the bright yellow lucite heels are amazing...too bad I can't afford them (they're nearly $1000!). Any volunteers?
