Home tour of Cindy Greene...

I saw this tour [which was featured in part in Domino...ages ago!] @ the Selby last week & found it so inspirational! Cindy, one of the designers of the brand Libertine, uses large doses of white to show case splashes of vibrant color throughout her home. You can view more of the tour here...!

A sombre day...

I don't normally post very personal things but I thought I would take this day to break from blogging to remember my husband's grandfather, who passed last Saturday afternoon. We're going to spend the day with family & remembering Pop-pop!

I found these @ Ooga Booga's shoppe. Created to document interior spaces where Bless products have lived, these wallscapes can be purchased as posters or wooden panel collages. I say, they're simply great inspiration!

Accessories that rock...!

I know, I know, we've all seen these before but I still like them! Fun little felt rocks, perfect home accessories for...well, anywhere! If I had these right now, I mught use them to fill a large apothecary jar in my living room. I'm sure with time though, they'd be relocated again & again as I have a tendency to be constantly rearranging!

One frock I'd like to rock!

Absolutely cannot tell you how much I do love this dress!! Of course it's a no brainer since it's designed by Loeffler Randall, but I could see myself layering it like this or wearing it with skinny jeans, tall boots, a long sleeved shirt & cropped jacket. In my imagination it's also a cool 60 degrees, not the nearly 100 degree weather we've been having here!

Style inspiration...

I saw this from Refinery 29's street style in Copenhagen. I was so inspired by this classic, yet feminine ensemble. Plus, who can argue with this color palette? Baby pink with soft grey...perfection! To see more of the locals go here...

Oh, these talented ladies...!
I'm loving this wallpaper, fabric & even the unique furnishings of Catherine Hammerton. Everything has a very handmade feel to it, and this flutter wallpaper [pictured right above] has the look of layered Gingko leaves...how fun! Check out her fun website for more chic images!

...I love these! I'm am feeling a little bit of bird overload and have been intentionally steering clear of bird paraphernalia in general, but this may be enough to bring me back! These sweet "bird survey" prints come in a set of 5 for $18! What fun inspiration for an instant frame collage!

Pottery Barn...really?!

The other day I took a stroll through PB and saw this in one of their photos...I was sort of surprised! I would have never guessed this wonderfully fun & quirky chandelier came from a place known for conservative classics. Pleasantly surprised?...I would say so!

I try to feature some interior design work once a week, but that doesn't always happen. Fortunately though, for this week I wanted to share a little from the portfolio of Jeffers Design Group.
Every room has such an entirely different feel but I think my favorite might be the top pic. The mix of vintage and modern worlds seems to be such a fluid effort and the little splash of green from the flowers and peeking through the mirror is spot on!

Another important culture...

These pretty shots are from the Fall 08' line from Another Important Culture, a collection combining San Francisco in the early 60's and Russian circus in the 70's. Somehow, they've managed to create something so harmonious & ethereal from two very contrasting sources of inspiration. I think it's entirely lovely!

I love this image, a photo taken by the talented Anita Calero. The warm colors, brass spindle lamp, richly patterned rug and black silhouette chair are such a refreshing change from the bright Summer colors and white washed walls I seem to be seeing so much of.
