We still don't have an internet connection at our new house...apparently we moved out into the middle of nowhere!

Not to worry, though, I've been passing the time by being insanely sick and not getting any rest.

Hopefully this next week will be better all the way around!

Last night I, yes I, put together the baby's first piece of furniture!
It's the Malm 4-drawer that we'll use as changing table/storage.
Everyone complains about how difficult Ikea's furniture can be to assemble, but I thought it was a breeze!
Still have much more to do before his expected arrival in September!

Wish I could say this was from my own home, but it's not!
Husband and I are trying to shovel the rest of our stuff into the new house by this weekend.
Will it never end?!
One of the first things I'll want to do is start planting my own favorite flowers and herbs.

I apologize for being away now for almost a week!
With all of the chaos from the move as well as preparing for an upcoming market event, oh, and jury duty, I have been far away from the computer!
That said, I love this hotel room the colors are great and that one purple coat over the side chair just finishes it!

Phew!

We're done moving, at least for now. We begin moving again, and for the last time next weekend.

I'll be excited fot that move, though, because it means an extra 500 sq ft, a walk in closet, fireplace and extra room for baby!

Happy Weekend+ to-do's

Among the laundry list of things to do, I'm going to spend some time planning the appetizer menu for my baby shower.
So far I have pretzels dipped in mint & white chocolate, fruit skewers, cucumber roulades...yup, I've got a lot to do!
